Great example. Peter Schiff got lucky, once. Why do I say he got lucky? Because his model is obviously whacked. Where is the hyperinflation he has been talking about for 6 years? Where was the decoupling?

So he was right, but for the wrong reasons. Which means he got lucky. And he still says that stuff. It is like he was wondering what time it was, figuring it was about 12:30. He looks at the clock and so it is! A couple of hours later he looks at the clock again. He sees it still says it is 12:30 and he decides that time has stopped...

And this is a weakness of Austrian School. It is all about building up these theories and when they conflict with reality, they stick with the theories.
