If you think they all ought to continue reliving the past, we know how that turns out. Gaza is being destroyed by Israel right now because Israel has been left with no alternative. I believe the Israeli assessment is that they must make Gaza residents feel the pain of terrorist leadership or they will not be motivated to remove them.
