Well Ron, I really didnt find much for a replacment for ROC. I took a strange turn though. In looking up Lithium producers I naturally came across numerous Lithium battery producers. One or two caught my attention as part of my theme was more expanded use of Lithium batteries. There were a couple of small producers (penny stocks really) that had small unique niches of lithium battery power primariliy providing for military or specialize municipality.

One recently had a secondary and a prospectus was still around. Read the prospectus and in the risk section it talked about better financed, larger companies they compete with. In going through the list a found a couple really interesting players. The first one, not traded- was bought out. the second not traded, - was bought out. the third, was not traded - bought out. Low and behold all three were bought out by the same company ENS. ENS also even trading in double digits. Anyway its not the niche player I was hoping for but I think plays in a space (industrial batteries) I'd like to be in and at the same time is buying a future/technology likely to allow for growth for the next 5 years or so. Anyway bought some shares the other day as a probable long term hold and might play the trading range with some trading shares.

As a note to the tread. Ahhaha didn't seem to care for securitization in general. wonder what he would have said on Solar Citys successful placing of panel backed bonds. This things are backed by the full faith and credit of the Homeowner? Place by a sales company selling panels? Using 20 yr leases on something that the average home owner only lives in 7 years? with equipment likely obsolete in like 5 to 10 years?
