===> "That's a significant drop from 180 to 120. TIME LINE?" <===
The loss of weight was rapid. I don't know the specifics. At the time, December 2004, I was having nasty health problems, including breathing difficulties, swollen ankles, weakness, erratic heart beat, and chronically high blood pressure. I wasn't really keeping track of my weight, only of my symptoms. ===> "However there are tests out there that can determine one's calorie requirements needed at rest and when active" <=== My diet plan came from the Internet. I was Insulin Resistant, so I went on a diet that targeted Insulin Resistance. As I continued on my 1200 calorie "low-glycemic" balanced diet, my blood pressure and symptoms improved. There is not a single doctor or specialist alive today that would take the time and effort or is capable of improving upon what I have already done to improve my health. I go to cardiologists/doctors just to get tests and prescriptions, and basically ignore most of what they have to say. ===> "So what would your 200 cal meal consist Do you have any examples." <=== You are definitely not going to like my unseasoned, unsalted diet. I eat it because I have to. I've actually grown to really enjoy it. I've adapted a taste for it. :)
It's actually about 225 calories at present. I am an ovo-vegetarian. Per day, I eat three microwaved eggs, three 1/2 cups of cereal with 1/6th small apple and 1 1/2 ounces of almond milk, and six microwaved bowls of veggies (corn, peas, broccoli, squash, soy beans, lima beans, green beans and carrots). Soooooo, I have either an egg with veggies or cereal and apple with veggies six times a day. I can just picture you gagging at the thought of my diet, and planning to go down the strip for a tasty filet mignon, baked potato and salad! :) |
