You guys, like most of the media recently, totally miss the real cause for Vladi's desperately wanting - no, at any price absolutley needing - control of East Ukraine: All the supply lines to Crimea for gas, electricity and even water, all connect from 'Motherland' Russia through eastern Ukraine! Thus Russian control of this area is absolutely mandatory - at least until that new bridge and thus also new supply lines to and straight from Russia have been completed. Which will be another couple of years from now. This was well reported and covered by the media months ago, when Crimea was occupied, but since then I haven't seen any coverage at all of it - just wonder why??? Putin desperately need control of his Crimean supply lines, at any price! /Taro
