I've never been more uncertain about direction, or more sure about major trouble ahead.

I was more sure in 2005-06 of what would happen. Now too much skin in the game for RE to really crash NOW. Half this country is paycheck to paycheck with no end in sight. Don't have the purchasing power or available credit to get velocity of money higher. What most scares me is they keep this charade of our do nothing congress letting us depend on the current status quo of ZIRP, financial engineering,. asset bubbles and war economy going 3-4 more years, loosen credit substantially get J6P leveraged back in and have a simultaneous peak in housing, the financial markets and real economy by the middle of the next administration. I am guessing they will have to tighten earlier if oil prices get out of hand. Is sad neither party or their loyal sheep can have a real discussion these days. Sold the miners this am didn't like the reaction this week to the middle east chaos of price of gold sharp drop to the 200 dma.. I'll be set either way gotta buy another five more rental houses... Is amazing how so many just don't get that the working class struggling even more due to the political gridlock resulting in too much power in the fed and the skyrocketing costs of energy, rent and food squeezing too many Americans. .
