Similarly, it should be established, as it apparently isn't now, as far as the US is concerned..

Wars are violent exercises, without rules, to be sure, to be employed strictly as a defensive strategy, when there is an imminent threat of annihilation or profound damage or destruction to the mainland of the US itself

...any other extension of power to "protect our interests" or to be a political charade to get re-elected, as the Iraq incident was/is, or any other purpose, should not be called a war

..in fact, they are activities that should be avoided at any cost

To forfeit American lives when there is no immediate threat is a despicable waste of our human capital

..to fail to care for the halt and lame that are created as a result of these unnecessary political adventures, should be a source of shame for all Americans
