From the rumor mills

Hedge funds and other large money managers reduced their net-long exposure to commodities for a fifth week in a row as of July 29 with all of the three major sectors seeing net selling. Out of the 24 commodities tracked in this, some 18 were net sold, not least WTI crude (ICE), gold, wheat (CBOT) and sugar.

Hedge funds continued to sell EUR currency futures last week with the net-short reaching the highest level since August 2012. Overall, the dollar was net bought against five out of eight IMM currencies, not least the EUR and JPY, resulting in the combined dollar long reaching 16 billion, the highest since February 18.
