Hello Paul,

I actually face reality constantly. I, unlike you, work daily at Novell very aware of what is going on and what is possible. I see, and fully understand, many of the day to day decisions going on. I really wish that you would be extremely clear in your posts as to who you insinuate is not facing reality. I'm stuck wondering if the "you" in your sentence means me, or Novell. I think that many of your posts are very useful, but if your statement was intended to be a personal attack then I can only think that the rest of this post is not serious either.

I really wish that I could somehow try to address your questions, and take concrete suggestions back into Novell. But I have to say that sometimes you spew some lame comments.

> What do you have that a small business needs in your IFSB

You are venturing into an area that I do not disagree with. I am not your enemy here.

I will only identify with the "you guys" statement as far as the fact that I am employed by Novell. I will not at all agree that I have any involvement with the decisions that were made with respect to this product. I agree that a modern, up-to-date strategy needs to be developed around some simple concepts on how small businesses will connect to, and use, the Internet.

I appreciate the fact that you look at me as someone who has incredible control at Novell ... but I'm sorry that I don't. I can only try to lobby for ideas that I believe in.

> Even Denice got fed up with it.

Interesting statement. How is it that you are so sure that she was not responsible for it? I don't know one way or the other, but I would be very interested in where you get your information about the executives at Novell and who was in control of what. Please let me (and our fellow investors) better understand this ... did she tell you that (even though she was in control of this division) she was "fed up with it"?

> When is somebody over there going to figure out what the hell they
> are doing?

At this point I have deleted the rest of my attempt to respond to your post ... it's just a waste of time to address these "generalized" statements ...

Based on your comment above, I'm going to guess that you feel the answer is "never" or "only when it's too late." In that case, if this is what you believe, then I'm sorry to say that it's all over. We're done for. Novell is dead. You've called it again. Bummer. And things were just starting to look good again ...

Oh well ... everyone sell. Paul has declared it over.

;-(
