The tech stuff is good, buy why not approach the reason for dicline.

Bob, this isn't in response to your great technical posts, it was just the last post. Nothing personal!

The prior posts have been an education in themselves. The pissing contest between PT and rest is enlightening. But avoids the taboo subject of the stocks decline in value, without reason. Some of you guys bought in at 15, how do you feel watching your position errode to the point that your money did nothing for one year. Thats quite a bit of money to sit idle, it didn't pay you for the ride up and down.

Don't take this post the wrong way, I now have 7,000 sh. and am in the same boat as you. I can sell tomorrow, lick my wounds and reinvest later. But, I have developed faith in the company, think that the stock will jump up soon, think that the dilution going on should end sometime soon.

Nobody that follows this thread is owed an explanation, not me, nobody. However, it might be nice if we analyzed what has happened. We're in the boat together, those of us that are left, that is.

What has happened?

Well statistically Nextel often went opposite of the Nasdaq, or had a mind of its own. Why not now?

Nextel is not related to the Asia/Japan crisis in any way, why is the stock affected? Or is it being affected by some unknow reason?

Nextel's market price usually went up with volume, why is it going down now with high volume?

Nextel's PR releases usually caused a run up of the stock, why not now?

Nextel's products, ARPUs, subs, are always ahead of estimates, why is the stock unaffected?

Is the decline is stock value caused by short selling?

Big blocks are being sold, whenever the stock starts to rebound, 3-4 times per day. Who is selling? It has to be an organized sell off.
If the stock declines lower, then builds a strong base, what good is it, we sit for a year watching the same thing happen?

No, these questions don't deserve an answer because the 75 paid to SI doesn't promise anything. Since none of us participants are paid for knowledge, talk, or research, there is no obligation to anyone. But, it might be nice to approach the subject matter and discuss it, just for fun!

Regards:

a now more serious, Al Gutkin
