Sometimes I think those of us who use computers on a daily basis often forget that many people still have never worked on a computer or owned one. So many times on SI I wince when technical engineers make derogatory comments about the ignorance of joe public. Well, there are a lot more joe publics out there than engineering whizzes and people with bottomless pockets. The "little people" as they are so often seemingly described are the greater marketplace. These people desperately want computers for their children and now they can afford them. There are now 2 ends to the market and both will be profitable.
