Looks like he wants to brazen this out. Sadly, he can't. His window of opportunity is closing. Its being reported that Ukrainian troops are a few miles from the city center of Donetsk and have Luhansk, with its power shut down, completely surrounded. If those two cities fall, its mostly a mop up operation after that. Still, he's amassed 20K troops at the border so anything is possible at this point.
