CJ, I too am in favor of restructuring the tax code. The only problem is that any cut to the corporate tax will not sit well with liberals, even if it is paired up with increases in "unearned income" taxes and other taxes.

Any system can be gamed, by the way. Even Warren Buffett, who disingenuously claimed that he wanted to pay more in taxes, structured recent transactions to defer taxes while posting huge gains.
