there's the rub. with ta as well as with stop-loss automatic risk-management systems.

umberto eco once wrote a very witty essay saying that macintoshes are like protestantism -- neither would have its cachet if it didn't stand in opposition to something. or in eco's more elegant terms, "it is not expected that everyone in the world become a protestant, just as it is not expected that everyone in the world use a macintosh." add ta to that list.
