Years ago people could go to a factory work their way up and be they complained like heck they had a job for life. Now only gov employees have that luxury. I think it is difficult for people I have met some of the nicest people who try to make a business for them selves not on welfare just self support. I understand what you are saying because I know people working both ends of the game under the counter income and ontop of the counter welfare aid. Whites and Blacks are about evenly distributed in the welfare game Hispanics much less around 15% Don't forget the 14,000,000 people on disability. Probably the fastest growing segment of our population. Should I add this to how much are stock market is going to go up or subtract it and come up with a call for the down side.
