President Clinton Creates New Government Department of Computerization.

Clinton says need of a Government Dept. to oversee the Computer Industry was inevitable.

WASHINGTON D.C.--(BULLSHI_T WIRE)--Dec. 15, 1997-President Clinton today announced the creation of a new Government Dept., the "Department of Computerization", which will be charged with the responsibility to oversee the Infrastructure of Computing within the U.S. and it's possessions, in particular the... Operating Systems, Software, Hardware and for the Internet, Intranets, Extranets and the WWW.

What has surprised the Computer Industry and Government Insiders the most, is that the person to take charge of this new department will be non-other than Bill Gates, from Microsoft.

President Clinton in announcing Gates as the Secretary of Computerization said he is the natural choice for the position since Gates is one of a very few who have taken on Janet Reno "head to head". Gates has stomped on her toes and lived to tell about it said the President, he went on to say Billy Gates now owns the deed to the Lincoln bedroom...the Oval Office...Air Force One & Two along with other items the President refused to commit on. However on last report Hillary was reported to be leaving for Redmond , Washington.

Al Gore when asked for a comment wnet on rambling about.... cutting-edge technology in VPNs, tunneling, encryption, information super highway, bandwidth management, firewall security, DOOM & DOOM II, along with Duke Nukeum, and routing in a single hardware platform.

When leading executives and engineers in the networking industry were asked about their thoughts in regards to this event they said everything from Ah Shit to Oh Fuc_! Some of the companies were-- Bay Networks (NYSE:BAY -), Forrester Research (NASDAQ:FORR -), 3Com (NASDAQ:COMS -), Raptor (NASDAQ:RAPT -), and Shiva (NASDAQ:SHVA -).
