The labor force participation rate only counts people under the age of 65. It does not count all of the boomers who are continuing to work past 65. Example: I am 77 and still working.
What does the fact that you are 77 and working have to do with the percent of people between 21 and 65 that are working or not working?

Are you trying to say you are taking a job away from someone 21 to 65 that needs a job?

Why are there lots of boomers still working past 65? Is it because the economy is so good?
