You're failing to understand the numbers for the same reason that Krugman does.

Who is responsible for the worst job creation numbers of any president? By your reasoning that would be Obama. BUT, only a moron would attribute the first years numbers to Obama. They don't belong to Obama any more than the first years(s) numbers belong to Carter or to Reagan. Carters job creation was virtually all in his first two years - before anything that he was proposing really got under way. THEN his job creation numbers fell off the chart. .......Same with Reagan, if we don't count the Obama first years numbers as being his responsibility - they you have to do the same under Reagan. His numbers aren't any better than they because the first two years were nothing short of pathetic - because of the mess Carter left him. (LIKE the mess Bush left Obama).
