I maintained this then and I will continue to repeat it for as long as it takes: we made a big big mistake in removing Saddam. Both Bush Sr. And Bill Clinton recognized his importance for the geopolitical balance in the region. Consequently, both of them followed a policy of containment of Saddam. But the stupid Bush-Cheney duo decided to eliminate him. And for the stupidest of reason. He had no connection to Al Qaeda.

I agree wholeheartedly...........never have I been so angry when Bush decided to invade Iraq. And I fault mostly Cheney.........that idiot of a man.

And we have no business doing airstrikes now but as I said, we broke it; we own it.
