>>"Obama may be an idiot, but at least he's not as big an idiot as Bush Jr."<<

Did you read the Friedman interview? Read it, watch the videos and then ask yourself again if President Obama is an "idiot". Check out some of the reader comments also. And then ask yourself which prominent repub would you rather have. You can start with Palin/Bachmann and proceed from there to any of their "stalwarts" who will publicly deny evolution, climate change, any kind of reasonable gun control policies, prevent any reasonable legislation that benefits the less fortunate of our country, e. g., healthcare, but believes strongly that we can spread democracy at the point of an American soldier's gun to other countries and cultures wasting borrowed $Trillions, resists any attempts at sensible immigration policies, talks about tax reform and then votes against Simpson/Bowles as Ryan did but says "inversion" by American companies is somehow good and no doubt "patriotic"...and on and on...

You are still getting the benefit of doubt from me even though you actually think that i-node character is "sharp?".

You might also find the recent "Economist" interview with President Obama. I'm sure it is out there.
