The big problem we're facing is that government is speeding the process up by creating burdens for employers. Thus, the huge number of people who are affected have insufficient time to prepare for it.

The solution isn't more government; it is to get people educated to do jobs that automation cannot handle [yet]. That takes time.

More importantly, the current university system has to be replaced by online academics which are more affordable. All this takes time, and the federal government is totally headed down the opposite track.
