Dear Members,

We have made a change that should force all browsers to reload SI style sheet pages that have been updated.

Please let me know if any of you continue to experience the issue where read posts are not greyed.

Regarding concerns raised about board logo abuse; this certainly had crossed our minds, especially considering that board logos will eventually propagate to our home page. Uploaded board logos go online immediately. If we are reported through TOU or ourselves see abuse of the system (inappropriate logos), an SI admin can force manual review by SI staff of uploaded board logos on a global or per-Member basis. We do not have these switches turned on globally or for any individual Moderators at this time, but can if we start to see a problem. When turned on for a Member, the uploaded logo will say "pending review" beneath it on the subject modification page, and the old logo will continue to be displayed on the board. Again, this is not the default behavior at this time, SI Moderators are generally quite conscientious.

SI for many years has had a switch in place to disallow subject editing by a Moderator marked for using the board Introduction itself inappropriately (i.e. to attack other Members), and Moderator privileges can be revoked in the worst cases.

Regards,

@Dima
