It won't be too long before your job is replaced by someone else's software.

Doubtful - software is ubiquitous - I have done everything from UNIX device drivers to business applications and image processing. The web is only expanding and there is a lack of my current skills in javascript, css, php, html5 and mysql.

Could always renew my ts clearance and work on miltary projects again - seems we have need for more iron dome style weapons and surveillance systems like the ASARS2 and PINES systems I worked on previously.
