Dennis,
Just made it back a little while ago after a weekend of family and friend visitations. Was at DANB this afternoon, and just got the usual observational kind of info. rather than any good stuff from the manager. However, arrived today about 1:30pm, and the restaurant was at @80% capacity. By about 2:00 to 2:30, it was completely full. Same for the games area. Far busier than I expected it to be for a sunday afternoon. Had to wait quite a while just to get to the ski ball lanes. Lots of families today. I noticed a lot of construction next door, but my excitement was quelled by the news of it being a different retail store going up...unsure what. However, can't hurt, as that shopping center is getting busier and more occupied. Unfortunately, there was a power outage for that whole area yesterday afternoon, and it stopped DANB-Hollywood cold for over an hour in the afternoon. At least it wasn't during primetime. This location sure is looking good, though, and the manager echoed that. Monday should be interesting for RAIN. Time to see if this drive up is on fumes or just gassed up. Hoping tues. brings no more than a .25% rise, if any at all, so the market can keep moving. I keep reminding myself that we're pre-election to calm the nerves. Would be nice to know what the actual earning report date is though. Looking forward to the soon-to-be-opened RAIN at Sawgrass Mills visit. Will report back when happens. Still a little ways off at this point.
Happy trails,
Marshall.....btw, I enjoyed meeting your wife, albeit briefly. Good sense of humor seems apparent. |
