This is a sleepy thread or so it seems. There was a nice article in the Sunday New York Times Money And Business Section. It basically indicated that GTE was a specially positioned company with both local and long distance markets; was undervalued; maybe a takeover candidate; worth around $65 by yearend. I hope lots of people bothered to read it and will join us as investors!
