Retirements account for nearly half of the fall* in the participation rate vs* The labor force participation rate for those over 65 is higher than it has ever been. Do you have any idea what you are talking about? In one post you say that people over 65 are being counted in the participation rate, and that matters in the count. In another post you say that retirements of people over 65 are lowering the participation rate and it was expected. What exactly are you trying to say, since you make ZERO sense.
