Technology Alliance Enables New Game Titles
To Scream with Premier Sound Technology

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. and SARATOGA, Calif., Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- E-mu

(NASDAQ:CREAF), and Newfire, Inc. today announced that they are collaborating
to provide game developers with the most advanced digital sound and graphics
for next-generation entertainment. As part of the alliance, the two companies
plan to optimize Newfire's Catalyst(TM) and Torch(TM) game tools for Creative
Labs' AWE64 Gold audio card, E-mu's current SoundFont(R) technology, as well
