Having had clinical depression I would have to disagree. The drugs work,. possibly too well. My problem was cause by sleep apnea, we would all go crazy without sleep and typically the result is clinical depression. IMO there is to much psychoanalysis, when the problem is often psysiological. I had been in group therapy for over a year before the doctors figured I had sleep apnea. But at least the drugs worked, I was tired and maybe a little sad, but no thoughts of suicide.
