I don't know. Do they still even exist? I spend lots of time near where they used to protest and I haven't heard a peep from them in ages.
The most likely answer is that OWS was a fad that faded away. People came to these protests, camped out, and then got tired of it. Nothing really changed, except that they succeeded in getting the mainstream media constantly talking about wealth inequality.

Personally, I think OWS was coordinated by left-wing groups in order to help Obama's re-election. After that happened, OWS coincidentally faded away.

It's a conspiracy theory, for sure, but one that would be confirmed if two things happened in the near future:

1) Elizabeth Warren starts running for President in 2016.
2) The OWS protests start up again in conjunction with her campaign.
