Agreed.

I believe that the difference is "in production" and that this is just a matter of time before others catch up to where SVGI "was".

SVGI needs to do 2 things: Keep raising the bar; and Produce as many steppers as customers / prospects are willing to buy.

It's the latter that they've messed up, and which offers significant potential for price appreciation IF, AND ONLY IF, they execute.
