“Israel says Hamas has cynically calculated that the worse situation gets for Gazans, the better it is for Hamas. If so, why Israel is obliging Hamas?,” asks Haroon Siddiqui, former editorial page editor at Canada’s No.1 newspaper, The Toronto Star.
“It’s Israel and not Hamas which started this war. In fact, Israel is the one which broke all previous peace agreements with Hamas in 2008 and 2012 by attacking Gaza,” wrote Dr. Henry Siegman (University of London) and former national director of American Jewish Congress at Jewish Politico Magazine, July 22, 2014.
On July 25, The Toronto Star reported that the Zionist regime has rejected the US-UN proposed 12-hour truce plan for Israel and Hamas to hold indirect talks. The proposal was a joint venture of the two Crypto-Jews, John Kerry and Egyptian military dictator Gen. Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and the American puppet heading United Nations, Ban Ki-moon.
In a recent interview with pro-Israel BBC, Hamas leader in exile, Khaled Meshaal said that Hamas wants a cease-fire as soon as possible but on the condition that barbaric Israeli blockade of Gaza Strip be lifted before the cease-fire. Watch the interview below.
Salah Salah, a veteran member of Palestinian National Council (PNC) said in a recent interview that Israeli forces have been invading Gaza Strip even before the Hamas resistance movement was born – in 1956, 1967, 2009, 2012 and 2014. Salah said the Zionist regime is making Hamas as a pretext to their on-going terrorism against Palestinian people in both Gaza and the West Bank. “The current Israeli invasion of Gaza is to find the reaction of its Egyptian and Jordanian allies – and to find out what new weapons and resources the Palestinian resistance may have received from Iran or Hizbullah,” says Salah.
This reminds me British Jewish MP Sir Gerald Kaufmann’s anti-Israel outburst in the British House of Common during Israeli invasion of Gaza in 2008-2009. He said that as a Jew born in a Polish Zionist family, I admit: “Israel was born out of Jewish terrorism.” Listen to Kaufmann’s speech below.
Hungarian-born Canadian Jewish speaker and author, Dr. Gabor Mate’, in an Op-Ed at daily Toronto Star on July 22, said that Israel’s neoNazi crimes in Gaza have turned “Beautiful dream of Israel into a nightmare”.
“In Israel-Palestine the powerful party has succeeded in painting itself as the victim while the ones being killed and maimed become the perpetrators. “They don’t care about life,” Israeli prime minister Netanyahu says, abetted by the Obamas and Harpers of this world, “we do”. Netanyahu, you who with surgical precision slaughter innocents, the young and the old, you who have cruelly blockaded Gaza for years, starving it of necessities, you who deprived Palestinian of more and more of their land, their water, their crops, their trees – you care about life?,” Mate’ said.
“Palestinians use tunnels? So did my heroes, the poorly armed fighters of the Warsaw Ghetto. Unlike Israel, Palestinians lack Apache helicopters, guided drones, jet fighters with bombs, laser-guided artillery. Out of impotent defiance, they fire inept rockets, causing terror for innocent Israelis but rarely physical harm. With such a gross imbalance of power, there is no equivalence of culpability,” Mate’ adds.
