Except it wasn't his own statement. This has been pointed out many times. The cycle is someone, usually Taro, dredges this one up. They get linked to the snopes sites or one of the other places it is debunked. They shoot back that if it wasn't true, why didn't Obama have it changed. They are informed that he likely didn't know about it, that isn't information that gets distributed to the public, much less the authors. It is a promotional booklet sent to potential clients. Then that gets spun into yet another example how evil Obama is. c Then down the memory hole for a few months and then back into circulation. It is a stupid game. They are very attached to their fairy tales. The debunking should be made into a macro. Make it easier the next time it pops up, and it will.
