Why the animosity against a close friend of Israel? It is its biggest supplier of oil to Israel. And Israel and Russia's Gazprom are working together in the background to develop Israel gas. No wonder Israel refrained from taking a position on the Ukrainian crisis. the US was surprised when Israel skipped a vote on the matter in the UN General Assembly.
