Thanks Rocky. The QCOR buyout by MNK was fixed at $30 in cash and .897 shares of MNK for each QCOR share. And your Contest portfolio was the only one holding QCOR.
What I did was reallocate the cash to your other portfolio stocks (using their 8/15/14 closing prices) and simply put the MNK shares in your portfolio.
Specifically, you had 183.65 QCOR shares in your portfolio, which gave you $5,510 in cash (30 X 183.65) and 164.73 shares of MNK (.897 X 183.65).
For reference, the 8/15/14 total value of the added portfolio and MNK shares was $17,315. This amount is almost exactly equal to the total value of what your QCOR shares were worth at its 8/14/15 close.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Peace & good health,
Bulba
