CJ saying that Perry was under scrutiny is not the same as it being true. It is true, Dave. Just google it. Perry made the mistake of threatening to veto funding unless she stepped down. Then he did veto the funding and offered to restore it if she stepped down. This is bribery of a public official. Now Perry's woes with CPRIT are even more interesting. Perry was using it to reward big donors. texastribune.org dallasnews.com blog.chron.com Perry is as corrupt as they come. AFAIK, he hasn't ordered a hit on someone. But I wouldn't put it past him.
