at ballet, erita last night was awarded the "Asian Grand Prix 2014 Fonteyn Prize" and place #5 in the "Asian Grand Prix 2014 Children Division Final". the coconut is thrilled she 'made the cut'. we this night shall de-camp hk for a couple of weeks and take opportunity to reflect on diligent work done well in dedicated manner.
am wondering what she has in mind now.
painting and calligraphy sort of goes together, but dancing is sort of a separate action. there are only so few hours in a week of training, practice, training, practice, ...
when i was attending school i did earn a scholarship of some sort, and i purchased a mazda rx7 rotary engined sports car w/ mag wheels and sun roof just before i nearly failed to graduate due to a hiccup in nearly getting C- in a course (for a pass / fail course, and C- would have been a fail) w/i the context that i tallied my course credits just right and w/o slack for C-.
it is likely that erita shall not experience the anxiety that i had to. jack i am not sure and have cause for concern. jack may need a wallop of luck.
however, i must note, right or wrong attitude, that it is an art to squeak by on the just correct calibration of effort for something as senseless as studying ~112+ credit hours of stuff whilst only realistically needing 20 (8 for writing, 8 for calculus, and 4 for computer science, all of which were already covered in high school). anything more may be a waste given that it would negatively impact other pursuits.
the car was beautiful, especially during the spring. |
