That's the thing. None of those rumors were ever proved true. Ma pardoned a huge number of people. Usually someone who violated prohibition laws. There were rumors that she would write pardons for a price, but that is what you'd expect a Southern Baptist to say.

You mean they were good, God fearing people who thought Prohibition was a lot of BS. Sounds like my kind of people.
