Christopher, THANK YOU very much for contributing with your extensive post and offering to share your knowledge. I am sick of the rantings and ravings about market manipulation. I am not a sophisticated trader; I'm just trying to learn the inner workings of the market well enough to make intelligent decisions rather than dart throws. I have always thought it irrational to believe that price swings are part of some nefarious plot among MMs who talk to each other. Sure, you want to help your competition make money by sharing your intentions with them! <G> Money flows in and out of a stock based upon the decisions of the individuals placing the orders. If you are willing, please share with us the kinds of issues you focus on for your trading decisions. What influence do fundamentals have? Do you look at minute-by-minute activity, short term expectations, or 1 year out? How do you balance all of this? One last comment... How about a new thread: Ask Christopher... Intelligent Talk ONLY!
