Bottom line -- if a change happens among humans in like, a millennium or less (probably even more than that), it isn't a genetic factor, it's environmental.

I don't understand that one. Genetic change is genetic change and usually caused by environment. I can also happen vey quickly. Their has been recent testing of wolves and fox where they raise the animals in a domestic environment. They found that their were distinct changes in color of fur and temperament. Muzzles became shorter and the animals became less territorial. Color of fur and in some cases eyes changed. Both species were basically becoming dogs. This was only several generations and I believe they are continuing with the breeding. This was true genetic change caused by the environment.
