RE: cops taking down someone just a few feet in front of me as I retreated quickly to what I thought was the safety of the media staging area, which had been specifically cordoned off for us. Why did it take so long for him to retreat to the cordoned off area? Shouldn't he have gone there instantly, like they told him to and like the other media members did, instead of continuing to shoot his camera in the middle of hostilities? Did the cop spray any of the other assembled media? Where is the video of this incident?
