FZ, as far as BEL's FTTC plans: djin.com search for Ray Smith, play 9/18/96, 10:45am. As far as BBTK/divicom: bbt.com As far as Nuko, I may have been mistaken about the settop box. There was a story here:http://biz.yahoo.com/news/nuko.html which I thought referred to a NUKO settop, but I can no longer pull up the text. Nevertheless, the BBTK/NUKO relationship was annuonced here:SAN JOSE, Calif. (Dow Jones)--Nuko Information Systems Inc. (NUKO) and BroadBand
Technologies Inc. (BBTK) completed tests demonstrating live transmission of multiple streams of
MPEG-2 digital video through an asynchronous transfer mode signal.

In a press release, Nuko said the capability demonstrated is necessary for transmission of digital
video over fiber-to-the-curb networks.

The tests used the Nuko Highlander multi-channel MPEG-2 video encoder system and ATM
Multiplexer, the BroadBand second generation FLX-2500 platform, and a Samsung set-top box.

Nuko said the capability of its multi-channel system will give telecommunications and cable
companies the ability to maximize available network bandwidth and deliver a full range of digital
video services.

The test ''underscores Nuko's ability to provide a video networking solution using a multi-channel,
open architecture design,'' the company said.

BroadBand, of Research Triangle Park, N.C., develops switched digital video systems for
telecommunications providers. As far as NUKO/CUBE under: nuko.com (FAQ's) "MPEG-2 codecs are based on both C-cube and IBM chipsets." Also, c-cube.com Best wishes, Tim
