....Or we could let the free market economy work. Why must every answer be the government needs to stimulate? When will you all learn that the government never creates NET new jobs. Every job they create is done with taxes they take from you and I. For essentials, we made a social contract that agreed we need those jobs. But when the gov't gets so massive like ours, they waste so much of our tax money, it becomes a serious drag on the economy, which is why we are in this never ending malaise. The best thing our gov't could do is get out of the way and let free enterprise grow our way out of this shithole. The Fed should be abolished or put in a straightjacket of monetary stability. Anything else just creates distortions that we pay through the nose for in the future.
