They will only be a clear and present danger to us if we continue to screw around in a part of the world that is unimportant (the U.S. is now virtually self sufficient in oil), and ruled by kings and dictators.

We can't even stop Central American kids from invading the U.S, let alone mess with the collection of psychopaths and misfits that is the modern Middle east.
