Meathead: SoundView guy lowered CPQ earnings BUT NOT THE RATING. <NEW YORK, Dec 15 (Reuters) - SoundView personal computer (PC) systems analyst Mark Specker lowered his fiscal 1998 profit estimates for Compaq Computer Corp to $3.45 a share from $3.66 a share. -- Specker kept his fiscal 1997 estimate at $2.68 and kept his ratings unchanged. They are short- and long-term buy. .
