<My father died when I was a small kid. From my experience, I doubt that not having a male role model in one's life is the deciding factor in AA poverty. <
Personally, I would agree with you.. But, those are his data points.. Not mine.
Having an adult pair typically provides more income, better housing, better neighborhoods, better schools.
Heck even Obama stated it was Fact.
You and I know how true this is in the African-American community. We know that more than half of all black children live in single-parent households, a number that has doubled — doubled — since we were children. We know the statistics — that children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty and commit crime; nine times more likely to drop out of schools and 20 times more likely to end up in prison. They are more likely to have behavioral problems, or run away from home or become teenage parents themselves. And the foundations of our community are weaker because of it."
Perhaps you would like to debate Obama on the validity of his statements, since you disagree with them?
First telling the impoverished they need to just cut back on the food, and lose some weight, as prices have outstripped wages, and now you disagree with Obama on the validity of Obama's statements regarding children who grow up without a father.
Are you sure you haven't been watching Fox News? Do you secretly listen to AM Radio? I think we may have another Republicrat on our hands here.
