The US is being squeezed by its debt. So in turn the US has to do some squeezing of its own:

tax payers and future taxpayers (students) have to be squeezed
savers have to be squeezed
people on government benefits have to be squeezed
interest rates have to be squeezed
the value of the dollar has to be squeezed
other countries and their citizens need be squeezed whenever possible
alternate currencies need to be squeezed
funds trying to leave the US need to be squeezed
corporations/organizations/businesses that are not benefiting the 1%, the military industrial complex, or the Washington DC parasites need to be squeezed
protesters complaining about any of the above need to be squeezed

Things the US won't squeeze:

The 1% and their related corporations
The military industrial complex and security agencies including both foreign and domestic
The Washington DC parasites
