Yeah, right. No one lies like the Right. Because for them, the ends justify the means. Say anything as long as y'all get your way. Fetal pain? Forms of contraception that cause abortions? Global warming is a scam? Obamacare has death panels? Tax cuts are the most effective way to stimulate the economy? Voter fraud is serious and can only be solved with voter IDs, scaling back days to vote and other voter suppression methods? Obama is a Muslim? Obama is a Kenyan? Obama is a socialist? The CRA was responsible for the Great Economic Bellyflop? That ACORN influences elections?

And the list goes on. None of these are true. Not even close. And all have been debunked.


Someone does.

I will close Guantanamo Bay by the end of 2009. You can keep your doctor if you like him. You can keep your current health plan. Lower health care premiums by $2,500. Beghanzi was about a video. The most transparent presidency in history (and the consensus view of reporters is it among the most opaque in history). Give me the trillion dollar stimulus and unemployment will remain below 8%. Because we've got "shovel-ready" jobs. The ACA is not a tax. Except when it IS a tax. I saved the American auto industry. There is a red line for Syria. Three days for the public to read new laws on the Internet. The health care law hearings will be held on C-SPAN so everyone can see the process. We don't negotiate with terrorists. "It is important for us to insure this thing [ACA] is 'deficit neutral, without tricks'". No tax increases on the Middle Class. (This is before even mentioning the unconstitutional process by which the law was enacted and the unconstitutional usurpation of congressional prerogatives by unilaterally issued signing statements that are in direct violation of statute).

And the list goes on. None of these are true. Not even close. And all have been debunked.

Really, if you want to have a contest about who lies the most and the biggest, you're going to lose that race every time.
