Ah, the old false premises problem. Generals fighting the last war. Looking backwards instead of forwards. <that being only the first step of regaining its old Stalinist post WWII boundaries?> Do you really think that Putin and Russia are wanting to retake Berlin and East Germany? You might like to consider why you think they want to do that. Yugoslavia to be reconstituted from the fragments? Life breathed back into the plastic residue of Lenin's corpse?

It might have been a good idea to tell F-bomber Nuland to not cause trouble in Ukraine. To not back Yulia [another F-bomber]. <What other response is possible to end the war quickly when Russia launches a full scale invasion of Ukraine,> Tell Zbigniew that he is out to pasture. Not starting it would have been much better. To end it, call a truce, call off the Kiev military attacks. Help sort out the Malaysian airliner investigation which was rudely and criminally stopped by the Ukraine government continuing attacks. To end it, stop attacking. Easy.

While fantasizing about the USA's amazing first strike capability against Russia, it might be wise to consider that the USA has just been defeated by a swarm of Islamic goat herders in Afghanistan. I can assure you that USSR and Russia spent decades preparing for responses to USA first strike MADness and that the very rapid response to a first strike would be measured in tens of megatons, or gigatons, to induce rapid serious consideration of whether continuation is really a great idea.
