First comes to mind would be paccar ( Peterbuilt and Kenworth - both large exporters).

Cummins is a leader in diesels and is not an OEM.Cat seems to be pulling out of the truck market.

That would leave other large internationals like Volvo and Mercedes for our domestic market for possible OEM buy outs.

Premium would have to be huge as they could get all of the OEMS if they stayed independent - be much like Bosch and brakes - which perhaps would see the bigger picture through existing trade channels.

just some quick thoughts.
