"I don't like those aspects of the culture that are racist, sexist or homophobic. They were instrumental in defeating the equal rights amendment for women. That hurt a lot of women. They were the major backers of proposition eight and their racism I am sure still reverberates as psychological damage in our society.

And the politicians they put forth work for policies that at terrible for a good society.

All of those things work to make our society something worse not better. "

Sounds like Pat Robertson,Rick Warren, DD, and Rabbi Levin. Phyllis Schaffley, too, since you threw in the ERA. All fundies think like that, and yet the only group you go after by name is the Mormon Church, and you only do that when Kate is around.
